As the leaves change and the crisp air heralds the arrival of autumn, The Henry Price Lodge has embraced the spirit of the season with activities that reflect our commitment to service, brotherhood, and honoring service.

Giving Back to the Community

In late October, members of The Henry Price Lodge and a few other lodges volunteered with the SMD Hospital Equipment Loan Program (H.E.L.P.) in Woburn, MA. This vital initiative provides medical equipment to those in need, fostering accessibility and care within our community. Over the course of just three hours, our team assisted over 100 vehicles, ensuring that recipients received the tools they needed to support their health and independence. The energy and camaraderie displayed by our brethren underscore the power of collective effort to create meaningful impact.

Welcoming a New Brother

November also marked a significant milestone within our Lodge as we welcomed Brother Enrique Gamboa into our Fraternity. During the solemn and inspiring Entered Apprentice Degree ceremony, Brother Gamboa took his first step on his Masonic journey. Please join us in congratulating our new Brother! We are excited to support Brother Gamboa as he embarks on this path of enlightenment and fellowship.

Honoring Service and Sacrifice

In early November, we had the district honor to present the General George Washington Military Service Medal to Brother Robert Shurdut. Brother Shurdut was an active member of United Lodge and has been a Mason for over 60 years. He served in the Navy Seabees for many years. This award recognizes Masonic veterans who have served their country with distinction, exemplifying the values of duty, honor, and patriotism. Brother Shurdut’s dedication to both his nation and the Fraternity stands as an inspiration to us all.

As we reflect on these activities, we are reminded that autumn is not just a time for reflection but also for growth and preparation. With the holiday season approaching, we are excited to continue our mission of supporting our members and the broader community.
