A History of Consolidation
Named after the founder of Massachusetts Freemasonry and the first Grand Master of Masons in Massachusetts, The Henry Price Lodge has a rich history spanning over 150 years.
Formerly known as The Consolidated Lodge, the lodge was founded on August 19, 2004, by bringing together Price-Benton Lodge and Germania-Revere Lodge. Both aforementioned Lodges were compiled of several Lodges themselves. After a lengthy period of stability and success, the placeholder name “Consolidated” was formally replaced in 2023 to honor the legacy of Henry Price.
The Henry Price Lodge has merged seven Lodges over 33 years, bringing together a rich history of Freemasonry within the Commonwealth. Our Lodge continues to operate under the original charter for Germania Lodge, issued by the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts on December 13, 1854, initiated by Winslow Lewis.
