December 2024

The Henry Price Lodge welcomed December with a meeting rich in fellowship, tradition, and philanthropy. Our gathering embodied the spirit of the season, highlighting the values that unite us as Freemasons.

The lodge was honored to welcome the District Deputy Grand Master, R.W. Thomas "Tad" Connelly IV, for his final official visit during his term. R.W. Bro. Connelly’s guidance has been instrumental to our lodge’s growth, particularly during our significant milestone of adopting the name The Henry Price Lodge. In recognition of his steadfast support, we presented R.W. Connelly and R.W. Peter Lawson with a token of our appreciation: a limited-edition silver lapel pin commemorating our lodge’s name change.

Accompanying the District Deputy Grand Master was an impressive suite, including three of the four Grand Warden candidates. It was a privilege to meet and greet these distinguished Brothers, whose dedication to the Craft exemplifies the principles of leadership and service that guide our fraternity.

Our meeting also embraced the season of giving through a philanthropic donation to Project Delta. Started by members of Delta Lodge in Braintree, MA, this meaningful Masonic charity equips First Responders with stuffed animals to comfort children during moments of crisis. The lodge is proud to contribute to this initiative, reinforcing our commitment to supporting those in need.

A highlight of the evening was the presentation of a gift from Columbian Lodge: a portrait of our lodge's namesake, Henry Price. This beautiful artwork not only honors the legacy of the "Father of Freemasonry in America" but also symbolizes the enduring connection between lodges across the jurisdiction.

The evening concluded with the recognition of exemplary members. Brother Matthew Leming received the prestigious Master Mason Rookie Award, celebrating his exceptional commitment to the Craft during the year following his raising. Additionally, Wor. Bradford Turnier was presented with his Past Master certificate, commemorating his successful second consecutive term as Worshipful Master.
