Reviving Tradition: A Special Gathering for Our Florida Brethren

This past month, The Henry Price Lodge hosted a long-overdue special event for our members who reside in Florida either part-time or permanently. It was a remarkable occasion filled with camaraderie, shared stories, and the rekindling of an important tradition that had not been observed for many years.

Our gathering was marked by a warm spirit of Brotherhood as we enjoyed excellent food and engaging fellowship. It was heartening to see so many familiar faces, reconnect with old friends, and strengthen the bonds that unite us as Masons.

A key highlight of the event was the presentation of Masonic anniversary pins, honoring the dedication and commitment of our Brothers to the Craft. Many pins were presented, recognizing service to the Craft anywhere from 30 to 60 years. These milestones serve as a reminder of the lifelong journey we all share within Freemasonry. Additionally, the George Washington Military Service Medals were presented to two members who have honorably served our nation. It was a privilege to express our gratitude to these Brethren for their service and sacrifice.

Another important component of the event was the "State of the Lodge" presentation. This provided an opportunity to update our Florida-based members on the health and progress of The Henry Price Lodge. We shared our recent achievements, upcoming initiatives, and future goals, ensuring that all members—near or far—remain connected and engaged with our Lodge’s mission and activities.

This event was a tremendous success, and we are pleased to announce that it will now once again be an annual tradition. The enthusiasm and support we received reaffirmed the importance of maintaining this connection with our Brethren in Florida. We look forward to gathering again next year and continuing to celebrate the enduring bonds of our Fraternity.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making this event truly special! And thank you to Boca-Delray Lodge #171 for hosting the event.
